Bihar Compartment Exams: Would you believe that the Bihar matric compartmental and special examinations will commence on May 2? Matriculation compartment cum special examination dates for the year have been officially announced by the Bihar School Examination Board (BSEB). Dates to Keep in Mind
The Bihar Board Matric Compartment Exam 2025 will be held between May 2 and May 7, 2025.
- First Shift: from 9:30 AM to 12:45 PM
- Second Shift: from 2:00 PM to 5:15 PM
- There is an additional provision of 15 minutes to read the question paper at the time of starting the examination.
Information on subject-wise Examinations Bihar Board Matric Compartment Exam 2025
- May 2 (First Shift): Mother Tongue (MIL)
- May 2 (Second Shift): Second Indian Language (SIL)
- There are alternatives for subjects for visually impaired students:
- Mathematics will be Home Science.
- Science will be replaced by Music.
- That is why the visually impaired candidates will be taking the following:
- May 3 (First Shift): Music instead of Science
- May 5 (First Shift): Home Science instead of Mathematics
Special Arrangements for Students with Visual Impairments
Students unable to write their examination owing to visual disability may request support in the form of a writer at the non-matric level, as sanctioned by the District Education Officer. This move guarantees that no child is left behind.
Bihar Board Matric Compartment Exam 2025 Eligible Persons
- Students who have not qualified in:
- One or two subjects, or
- Up to three subjects, including English.
- Now, this is for the first time, out of the three chances given to a candidate to qualify and finally complete this examination.
It is, be it Science, Social Science, Mathematics, English, or any other subjects, that the compartment exam is for you to make sure you won’t have to waste an academic year again in that subject.
